Re: FOX News...Is it A Trustworthy News Source?
I watch CNN on occasion that it loves to caress Obama, and almost in a sexual way...
Fox news has its flaws, but it is very pro-American. That's all that matters in my book.Truth Be Told

I stay at hotels, from time to time, from a hotel chain that is notorious for using CNN as their default "power on" channel, and in their lobby. As I was checking into one such hotel in Longview, TX, the guy who was waiting on me was, not surprisingly, of .. um.. foreign origin, shall we say.
I JOKINGLY told him, "I'm not staying here of you keep CNN on the TV", and he VERY HASTILY grabbed the remote, ran around the front of the counter, and clicked to "FOX NEWS". Then he looked at me and said, "I like Fox News, too, but they make me keep on CNN unless customer complain".
WHO KNEW!!!!

Re: FOX News...Is it A Trustworthy News Source?
It's MSNBC that is the liberal cable news channel. Like FOX has it's customers that watch it and watch and watch it as if it were entertainment, so too (likely) has MSNBC their's.

In my opinion, the single most telling piece of evidence that shows how poorly we're manifesting our call to care for animals is the recent creation of factory farms. Over the last century we have, to a large degree, reduced farm animals to commercialized commodities whose only value is found in how efficiently we can produce and slaughter them for profit. Consequently, more than 26 billion animals each year are forced to live in miserable, overcrowded warehouses, where there is absolutely nothing natural about their existence and where they are subjected to barbaric, painful, industrial procedures.
This is a far cry from what God meant when he told us to exercise "dominion." (Pastor Greg Boyd.)

Ok, and right now 1 in 5 people in America identify themselves as Republicans. Stats, wonderful stats!

UNAMERICAN is a term tossed at each side by the other side. Remember, the libs said we were UNAMERICAN because we don't pay enough taxes.
And it changes, based on who's in power. Rallying against the government was an AMERICAN thing, according to Pelosi, until the "other side" started doing it, now it's UNAMERICAN.
It cuts both ways.

Re: FOX News...Is it A Trustworthy News Source?
Not sure what you're getting at. Right wing extremists like Ted Nugent despise what is going on right now yet he's pretty damn libertarian on top of being a Republican.
And that's where I stand. This country's great, but the government sucks...
The government is now in a phase of not realizing that they're heavily outnumbered and need to watch their backs; they won't hold up forever. I was five years old many years ago, I don't need a group of imperfect and corrupt human beings ruling my life for me and telling me what I need to do for myself. I want my own life, thank you very much...Truth Be Told

That's it? No argument? No explanation of why it's unfair to call a news channel so far left that they're fact-checking COMEDY SKITS MADE BY OTHER LIBERALS just because they dare imply Dear Leader hasn't accomplished jack? "You're just a right-winger har har". This pretty much the grand zenith of gharfish's "arguments". Pathetic.

Yes, Dark, I saw the same Daily Show with John Stewart episode as you did on that scandal. Many people did. It was Stewart's complaint that CNN was not pressing guests that were making extreme political statements to substantiate them. Again and again it was Anderson Cooper and crew with a frustrating! We'll have to leave it at that, gentlemen.

I didn't see any John(sic) Stewart episode. CNN's subservience to the White House was noticed by a heck of a lot more people than Jon Stewart.

Re: FOX News...Is it A Trustworthy News Source?
But on that comedy skit, yes you did. CNN was criticized for not checking the outrageous stats that guests brought up--when they really needed to be checking they were not. They'd let the interview end and [even] go off to some fluff piece, saying they were out of time.

Now here is FOX News, in their own words. (Poor excluded unbiased FOX. Why, oh why do this to you of all networks ? (Thank you internet.)
