1: Your personal hygiene can now be classified as 'wet dog'.
2: You are intolerably mean to mossrose.
3: Appropriate dress code for everything from a wedding to a funeral is now 'Saturday Afternoon Beer Run Chic'.
4: You are more likely to use phrases like 'That makes me so mad I could punch a baby'.

2: Does the Bible claim for itself that it is inerrant and infallible? Can I hold to it being reliable, accurate, profitable and necessary without applying "inerrant" and "infallible" to it or do I go too far?

If you go by the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy, it basically agrees with you that "inerrant" does not necessarily mean free from error or at least the appearance of error. It simply means that despite those things that we can still trust it to be accurate and truthful about theological matters. So I'd say you're on the right track.
