navigation poll, where do you want to go today
k this is going to be the first of maybe a couple to a lot of official polls in the next few months, so use this opportunity to speaketh.
first order of business is on a scale of 1 - 5 (5 being constantly without even thinking of it) how often would you say you use the "New Posts" button(s) in the main navigation bar at the top of the website per visit. if you don't know what the new post button is please vote 1. feedback on the navigation altogether is welcome in the thread, ie. have at it sparko we know you will have something you will want to mention.

Re: navigation poll, where do you want to go today
I generally use the submenu and hit "within 24 hrs." And I use it all the time.

Re: navigation poll, where do you want to go today
I miss that we used to have a "new post" button, which only searched through the "higher" fora- apologetics, civics, etc. Now I have to scroll through dozens of rec room spam threads etc.
edited to add- Yeah, sorry, forgot to say that I use the new posts button all the time. Would be nice to have a search button up there next to it as well...

Re: navigation poll, where do you want to go today
duh, what's a 'new post' button?
just kidding, but I seriously, I don't use it. I'm more of a 'scan the main page' or 'subscriptions' kinda guy.
1 Corinthians 2:14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
"I recall your earliest lessons. You fell from one thousand feet during the walk of death, which, alone, was odd enough at your age, but you made short work of the walk of maiming and the walk of intense discomfort and tore your head clean off. I comforted you, well, your head, saying that you could just walk if off, because, you know, the cut was clean and then you would punch a mountain. In space!" -Master Li, Jade Empire
