Re: navigation poll, where do you want to go today
1 Corinthians 2:14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
"I recall your earliest lessons. You fell from one thousand feet during the walk of death, which, alone, was odd enough at your age, but you made short work of the walk of maiming and the walk of intense discomfort and tore your head clean off. I comforted you, well, your head, saying that you could just walk if off, because, you know, the cut was clean and then you would punch a mountain. In space!" -Master Li, Jade Empire

Re: navigation poll, where do you want to go today
I use the home page all the time for the most recent posts. It is my browser home page and I start from there. Also I usually use the shoutbox from the main page.

Re: navigation poll, where do you want to go today
Oh but to answer your question boom, I use the home page for most recent posts, but since I am gone for big chunks of time, like work, I use the new posts to scan through all the active threads for the day. When I am online all day, I will mainly use the home page so it depends on how much I am at the computer.

I wouldn't say I use it "constantly without thinking," but I do use it frequently. Other than that I use the subscriptions button all the time.

There's a home page?
Disregard the above.

Re: navigation poll, where do you want to go today
I think it was yesterday that I first noticed the new posts--last 24 option. Its a good feature that I've missed all this time. Can you put that option in flourescent pink?
I have relied on the subscriptions option-- which is too narrow -- or on the latest posts -- which could miss the topics of interest.Last edited by mikewhitney; October 18th 2009 at 11:39 PM. Reason: afterthoughts

Re: navigation poll, where do you want to go today
I voted '4'. I generally start out with the "my control panel" option, check all my subscribed threads and forum. If I still have time, I next hit new post option to see what is current but I am not subscribed to.

Re: navigation poll, where do you want to go today
It's right up there with the "control panel" function. I use both equally.
I know about the new posts section on the home page, but that only goes back a few posts.
edit: Forgot to mention, I used to use the older sub-menus, where I could look through just debate forums or just spam forums. I never really use the current sub-menus. To be honest though, the loss of the "debate/spam" separation hasn't been any kind of issue.Last edited by Tickle Me Mercury; October 19th 2009 at 11:40 AM.
