NZ has a cyclotron which is housed in the capital's airport and used to manufacture medical isotopes so they can be rapidly distributed across the country and need not be imported.

By comparison, the controversial Australian reactor Elim is referring to is a full-blown nuclear reactor, plus they have a synchrotron which I believe the NZ government owns a share in and our scientists go over there to use it regularly.

Fun fact: In Norway, the word "texas" was adopted into their language to mean 'insane' or 'completely crazy', due to the popularity of Texan cowboy movies in Norway in the 50s, and it is still a widely used term in Norwegian.
You know, I often found instead of attempting to know anything about the person(s) in question and judging them from there; is far easier to just judge them based upon stereotypes that are based upon your own hatred and prejudice. For example, all blondes are stupid, all red heads have a temper, all people from California surf, all people from Canada say 'eh' every other sentence, you know, those kinds of lazy judgements. Thanks so much for letting me know that narrow minded bigotry is okay.

Here in Oz we have a cattle baron that is bigger than life in every aspect (I say have, because though he is no longer active in the industry I think he is still alive). This fellow was originally from Texas, and for the average person the risks he took in establishing his empire were crazy! His favourite throw away line that he'd bellow to the TV cameras is/was "You know, Australia is the only place in the world where a Texan can feel small!"

The only place atheists should be allowed to run is on game preserves where rich televangelists hunt them for sport.
Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. He wouldn't have gotten 1% of the vote if it wasn't for the widespread spiritual and cultural devastation caused by progressive policies. There's no "this country" left with your immigration policies, your "allies" are worthless and even more suicidal than you are and democracy is a sick joke that I hope nobody ever thinks about repeating when the current order collapses. - Darth_Executor striking a conciliatory note in Civics 101
