Re: MAJOR derail from Screwball Thread

(and you keep drooling like a pig).
Being a perv and cool are two different things, but it's a nuanced distinction
(get out more & maybe you'll see what I mean; that's assuming you're not too geeky to have a reasonable shot).
You should be a comedian.
ETA: I should probably add that it's clear the invisible troll has finally given up. May this thread be a monument to his stupidity for those brave enough to read it.Last edited by Stax; December 12th 2009 at 02:13 AM.

Re: MAJOR derail from Screwball Thread
What have I given up exactly? I'll say one thing, the invisible troll bit was funny (about time you came with something); but you have to shift it around a little (you know, when you use the same bit with each attack it quickly loses its sting effect).
But anyway, oh yeah I still have to prove I exist
Well, since the net energy in the universe is zero, I guess nothing exists .... really. Oh, but does empty space have energy? It's full of virtual particles that pop in and out of existence. But did this energy always exist? Hmmm, sort of seems like it ... buuuut how exactly? Didn't something have to cause it? Mr. Kalam thought so. Yet under every leading theory (that seeks to extrapolate before Planck density) energy is conserved. Indeed at this point it seems like physicists may be settling on the idea of a universe from nothing (where energy is still conserved i.e. inflation triggered by quantum fluctuations).
So to sum it up .. the evidence is exceedingly pointing to a universe where energy was always conserved, meaning it didn't require a creator (indeed it can't be created, according to everything we know). Hmm, nahh must a global anti-god conspiracy where all leading scientists are colluding with each other. That makes the most sense!Last edited by bridgeforsale; December 12th 2009 at 05:36 AM.

Crab Battle
noun
Words uttered to incite an all in brawl. Whoever says the words 'Crab Battle' will usually be spear tackled to the ground by anyone else present, and all parties will then engage in a fight to the death.
Reality untouchable, transparent, invisible to our fixed, restricted fields of vision. Existence taken for granted, absolute. Possessed, owned, controlled by the common sense-infected rational gaze, onward forever we walk among the ignorant. Never stray from the common lines.

I drool'd
"If fighting is sure to result in victory then you must fight!" Sun Tsu said that, and I'd say he knows a little more about fighting than you do pal because he invented it! And then he perfected it so that no living man can best him on the ring of honor! Then he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth, and then he herded them onto a boat, and then he BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF EVERY SINGLE ONE! Ehehehehehehehehehe. And from that day forward anytime a bunch of animals are together in one place it's called a 'zoo!' Unless it's a farm!

I really do doubt you are all that immersed in logic or indoctrinated by rational thinking because a good thinker would know that what you just threw up below is devoid of either of these things, but you have to have something to hold onto your doubts, eh?
More of, "WAA! God doesn't do what I want to exist so therefore God doesn't exist" type of thinking eh? Tell us all why Theistic Evolution is false please. Tell us all why Christians from long before Evolutionary theory was even thought of have said that Genesis is not word by word literal? Are you even aware of these facts or do you just simply spit up the first thing that comes to your head? There is nothing in Christian doctrine that says it must be creationism or nothing and there is no creed that I have yet to find that says that either or were you one of those fundy Christians that seemed to argue tooth and nail for creationism and thought it must be true or Christianity is false? If god could really do anything, why not just create the universe in one fell swoop rather than go through the long convoluted process science tells us accurately depicts the formation of our world? Why not actually make man out of dirt or clay, or through some other rapid process (as the genesis myth tells us he did), rather than the evolutionary process science tells us accurately depicts the actual series of events leading to the development of modern man?
What is really amusing is that you are too stupid to know that we are surrounded by radiation that penetrates though us all the time and that vacuum’s are not perfect and still contain some energy as well as atoms in them (in fact, true absolute zero is impossible to reach on earth, but I'll leave that up to you to figure out why), so to say that the universe could have popped into existence from nothing when we have these varables effect the experiment's outcome and these those few scientist that do agree with you (that are actually theoretical physicists and have not found actual physical evidence for their theories) also are forced to admit that they do not know what existed before the big bang, but despite this... you simply declare that their views are absolute truth because they tell you things you like to hear. Still drooling all over yourself, eh? So do you believe this stuff by faith or by evidence and if it's by the evidence, please present some physical evidence please because I'm sure it would be one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs since the theory of relativity. So god obviously isn't powerful enough to do anything. Now science is telling us the universe may have popped into existence from nothing (or through quantum fluctuations in a pre-bang empty vacuum), sort of like bubbles that inflate, then self-destruct (until finally one took). Was this god, trapped in a vacuum, trying and trying until finally getting it right?
Isn't it amusing that when something disagrees with him that it's wishful thinking, but when something tells him things he likes to hear, it becomes absolute truth?Since I can't (and no one can) be 100% sure it wasn't a non-detectable being of some sort ..... wishful thinking will no doubt be around for a while. Nevertheless, I choose common sense (and you can call it what you like).Love is not blind; that is the last thing it is. Love is bound; and the more it is bound the less it is blind.
