  • White House Press Secretary Spicer

    I don't like him.

He seems to get emotional - he's a horrible reader (and he seems to read a lot of his content) - he seems unprepared and nervous.

He just doesn't seem to have the "stage presence" of a public speaker.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

I'm trying .... he seems to be smoothing out a little, but..... I would have hoped Trump would have put a 'natural' there.

Hmmm, I watched him in action at todays press conference and thought he did a pretty good job. Oh Oh, now you're all going to think he's horrible.

I think he's fine. Par for the course as far as press secretaries go. He'll grow into it as he gets more experience.

No, I agree - he did much better today. Great Post, Jim - I even amen'd it!

I'll bet he doesn't have communist party recruitment posters hanging on his kitchen walls like somebody else I can mention.

MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell seems to like him:

                  Source: Breitbart

“First of all, he came out with a joke, with a light-hearted reference to the fact that Josh Earnest would still be the most popular, that his record of popularity would stand, that he messaged him last night. He attempted to fix — I think it was a reboot, you know, a chance to start over, frankly, a do-over. And it was substantive. It was responsive. He took lots of questions.”

Basically, I think once the press figures out how to play nice with the Trump administration then things will be better for everybody, but Trump is setting the ground rules early that he's not going to put up with their usual deceptive BS, and that's a good thing.

If you listened, he actually explained that. If you're just looking at your liberal empty echo chamber talking points, they probably didn't address that.

I'm not sure the press will be all that willing to play nice with the Trump administration, but they will be willing to adapt to a point in an effort to get news.

Who knows, they might even resort to actually verifying facts before publishing their stories just so they don't get publicly shamed by the Trump administration (like what happened to CNN and Buzzfeed after the "dossier" fiasco). Is that too much to hope for?
