The one thing that does constantly surprise me in this forum, and perhaps the only thing that ever does so, is your ability to be so consistently wrong about everything (e.g. the above), and the way you say everything with cocksure confidence even when it becomes obvious you've not the least clue about the basics (e.g. transgenderism as above).

Well, again, your posts demonstrate time after time that you've always lived in your own little bubble. You seem constantly surprised to learn things aren't exactly the way that you've pictured them. That's why you hold some of the most insane views that anyone on this multinational webforum have ever heard, and then seem confused when people think of you as a monster. That's why when you tell people you once were a great Christian thinker, they think you've lost your dang mind, because nothing in your posts demonstrate any knowledge about Christianity, theology, hermeneutics, philosophy, or apologetics, or even just a normal church service. I mean, you cited a few verses even within this very thread that were completely off the mark from the goofy point you were trying to make. And that's just routine for you here. You constantly say things with cocksure confidence when it's obvious that you don't have a single clue. And you're completely oblivious to the bubble you live in. Even other New Zealanders on this forum have found the things you say bizarro. So, yeah, I'm not surprised that you haven't ever experienced male bonding. You've apparently never experienced a great many things. I think it's likely that most of the guys here have. I can start a thread, and put it to a vote in case you don't believe it is a thing. Heck, we just had KingsGambit tell us that "With the distraction of girls, the environment would have been completely different" in his own Scout experience. So at least one person in this thread agrees that male bonding minus females was important.

FYI, the papers are not saying that transgenderism is psychosis, they are saying that people who already have psychosis can sometimes also experience transgenderism.

Awesome! I created an archival system for all of the photographs in my High School's yearbook department and then used it to organize 40 years worth of pictures with no discernible ordering. Before I got to it, you could literally drop your hand into a box and pull out one photo which was taken the month before, and another which was as old as the school.

I think a good question is, is it okay for boys to be boys, and girls to be girls? Are we different? Not just physically, but also psychologically? If so, is it so wrong to have clubs specific to each gender? Clubs that groom boys to be men, and girls to be women?

In my opinion it's just really weird that we live in an age where we even need to ask these sorts of questions. We live in a society that wants the egalitarianism that the NT was rich in, but like everything, we go too far, and then we want to strip God from the equation altogether.

I don't really care about the Boy Scouts. I was never a Boy Scout. Outside of a Rockwell painting I always thought the Boy Scouts were kinda hokey. I just don't see any reason why there's a need to pretend that everyone is the same. We're all equal, but we're not the same. And forcing people to be the same does not seem to me to be either mentally or spiritually healthy.

The NT was not rich in egalitarianism and the fact that so many people have been fooled into thinking it was is one of the reasons why you now have to deal with this.

At my Scout camp there was a cave called Fat Man's Misery that you had to crawl through. At the end of the cave there was a steep drop off, with a pair of fangs painted to warn you not to go any further.

I'd be surprised if they still let people go in there nowadays.

In my ~15 years of regular attendance in boys-only Boys Brigade both as a boy and as a leader, I can't say I ever "experienced male bonding" or got anything out of it that I wouldn't have gotten if girls had been in it. Likewise in ~13 years of attending co-ed schools with both boys and girls, my particular friend groups happened to be uniformly male, but I don't feel like that in any way allowed "boys to be boys" or anything like that, and in ~10 years at a co-ed university my friend group was fairly 50-50 males and females and that didn't affect my ability or inability to experience bonding and friendships with them.
