I am of the opinion that there are many flaws in the much-touted evidences for evolution. Assertions and ad-hominems like "It's a fact! There is no debate! You guys are deluded!" are not helpful to the discussion at all.

I can certainly respect that you feel that way (and can agree that this is not the forum for debate), and I don't mean it as an ad hominem attack. It does, however, need to be noted that the insistence of equating the Gospel with Creationism is going to make the proclamation of the Gospel far more difficult.

Creation + Gospel != Gospel

In answer to jayce's question, I think many people see the negation of Creationism as the negation of the historical existence of the first Adam (which would be an attack on the Gospel). This need not be the case, though.
