  • 100 Years From Now

Let's say Christianity is wiped off the North American continent.
The Christian population is down to about 1-2%.

100 years from now would you want to come back to the U.S.A wherein it was liberals that wiped it out or would you rather come back to a U.S.A where Muslims wiped it out?
Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. He wouldn't have gotten 1% of the vote if it wasn't for the widespread spiritual and cultural devastation caused by progressive policies. There's no "this country" left with your immigration policies, your "allies" are worthless and even more suicidal than you are and democracy is a sick joke that I hope nobody ever thinks about repeating when the current order collapses. - Darth_Executor striking a conciliatory note in Civics 101

I think I would pick the muslim one. Christians do much better under persecution. The liberals, while they do persecute Christians, tend more toward converting them and undermining them to their values. Look at what has happened to the Presbyterians (PCUSA). Completely useless now.

I think you've a better shot of NOT being persecuted by a Muslim society.

I view that as the libertarian utopia.

I view NZ and Scandinavia as the liberal utopias.

Probably, but the latter is more likely to behead you or something similar.

Liberals, I think, are a lot less likely to kill you than Muslims.

well since it is against Sharia law to convert from muslim to Christianity, as soon as the Christians try to be actual Christians and spread the gospel, they will be persecuted and any converts killed.

Since the U.S. is majority liberal, I think the majority answer would be "if it were liberal." If you are asking this of christians specifically, they would probably rather live in a liberal secular society where they are free to practice their religion. If it were a Muslim theocracy, the idiots would probably be in constant bloody war with each other over whose god is the only true god.

There is exactly zero evidence for this. In fact it's the exact opposite. A lot of people think that Christians being occasionally and irregularly persecuted early on means Christians do well under persecution but in reality severe persecution like that suffered under Muslims has, in fact, done the exact opposite. The soviet union created a lot of Russian atheists and if they had gotten a few centuries like muslims I doubt there would be a lot of Christians left. Christians did well early on in spite of the persecution, not because of it, and they'd have done even better without it. I think a lot of Christians are longing for that time not quite realizing what they'd be signing up for. I think that a part of this is the desire to be a victim, which is itself a form liberal corruption that is quite common today.

I think what would most likely happen is that liberals and Muslims would team up to wipe out the Christians, and then the Muslims would turn on the liberals.

Of course this assumes it's actually possible to wipe out Christianity, since historically, the harder it's squeezed, the more it thrives.

A lot of those Republicans are RINOs, and will never support real conservative action.

Trump won with a minority, and republicans win by voter suppression and gerrymandering.
