What a crock. This is the Chinese government we are talking about here. If they can get into Google, they can get anywhere. As evidenced by the fact that Google found (evidently--by hacking into the servers that hacked into them) 20 some other companies that were attacked.
Honestly, as an IT manager myself, this bolsters my desire to move email to Google Apps, it doesn't hinder it. I don't have the resources to protect against an attack like this, and I'm happy to outsource it to Google.
There may be some situations where that isn't realistic--companies under HIPAA/Sarbox come to mind, as does the DoD, but I think for many companies, this illustrates the value of Google Apps.

Google have failed to dominate China and it's prolly peed off with the cyber attack stuff.
But, the reason is largely financial IMO. Money talks the loudest.If triangles had a God, He'd have three sides.
In 1945 the USA unleashed an enormous amount of energy over Hiroshima and Nagasaki...
