    Bad premise. Discussion fail.

It turns out that Trump and his guest never openly handled classified documents or discussed classified information in public. What the pictures show are the two discussing how to coordinate an impromptu press conference for some reporters who had shown up.

          Source: The New York Times

Sean Spicer, the president’s press secretary, told reporters at the White House that Mr. Trump and Mr. Abe had not reviewed classified material on the resort’s patio.

Mr. Spicer said the president was briefed about North Korea in a secure location on the property. It is against the law for officials to be handling classified materials in a nonsecure setting.

Mr. Spicer said Mr. Trump and his aides were reviewing “news conference logistics” about the North Korean missile test.

It is an example of Trump's recklessness. It's irresponsible to have a national security incident played out in full public view and in the presence of a foreign leader. When Trump got word of North Korea's missile test, he immediately started discussing classified info with the Japanese Prime Minister in a public restaurant and he made no attempt to curtail phone use by guests. Photos were taken of the discussion itself, plus of the man holding the "nuclear football" briefcase etc. This is not acceptable behaviour from the president of the USA...it's rash and impetuous.

Even the Republicans in the House Oversight Committee, who have been sticking their heads in the sand over Trump-Russia connections and said they don't need to investigate because "it's taking care of itself" (!?), have decided they need to at least officially ask Trump if he discussed classified information in a public area.

Are you really so ignorant? It was explicitly confirmed that classified information was NOT discussed in public because this would have been illegal, and we don't even know if the guy who was claimed to be holding the "football" really was since the guy who posted the picture apparently got his info from Wikipedia.

Sorry, guys, but it's another fake news story, and you idiots fell for it. Again.

Mountain Man literally just gave you evidence that that did not happen. From a liberal news source. You quoted the evidence in your idiotic reply.

The real national security failure are the leaks coming out of Washington.

                    Source: Breitbart

President Donald J. Trump is already tired of the leaks coming from his administration, and vows to catch those involved in the “criminal act.”

“The spotlight has finally been put on the low-life leakers! They will be caught!,” he wrote on Twitter on Thursday morning.

Trump reacted to ongoing news stories surrounding the resignation of National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, after intelligence sources leaked transcripts of his phone calls with Russian officials.

“Leaking, and even illegal classified leaking, has been a big problem in Washington for years,” Trump added. “Failing New York Times (and others) must apologize!”

On Wednesday, Trump described the leaks as a “criminal act” during a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“It’s a criminal act, and it’s been going on for a long time before me, but now it’s really going on,” he said.

Yeah cos members of the Trump administration committing treason is totally fine, but people who dare leak information to the media about that treason are the real traitors.

I think Trump should say, "I agree! National Security is paramount. Therefore I have decided to reopen the case against Hillary Clinton." And watch the cockroaches scurry.
