  • Liberal "Journalism" has hit a new low: Gizmodo

At this point, the liberal media isn't even trying to hide that they want to manufacture fake news and print rumors in order to destroy Trump. They don't even pretend to be unbiased. In fact they are calling rumor mongering, "Good Journalism"

I don't think liberals fully understand just what a dangerous political climate they're trying to establish.
Some may call me foolish, and some may call me odd
But I'd rather be a fool in the eyes of man
Than a fool in the eyes of God

This is the best thing for conservatism since Reagan.
The more false stories, which are then discredited, the better.
It is the flailing death throes of an irrelevant and self-destructive media.

        See the new media:
        http://www.npr.org/2017/02/16/515411...w-conservative

^--- The media is driving people to the right.

The NPR host was an idiot, but he's part of the dying breed of liars.
Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. He wouldn't have gotten 1% of the vote if it wasn't for the widespread spiritual and cultural devastation caused by progressive policies. There's no "this country" left with your immigration policies, your "allies" are worthless and even more suicidal than you are and democracy is a sick joke that I hope nobody ever thinks about repeating when the current order collapses. - Darth_Executor striking a conciliatory note in Civics 101

Gizmodo is in the same company as Gawker. They will be destroyed.
Also I think they fail to understand that they are the loose lips.

Ironic that they embrace the phrase "Loose lips sink ships" since they are engaging in the very behavior that slogan warns against.

No, they're PROUD of the fact that they are the loose lips, and are encouraging others to be loose lips in an attempt to sink Trump.

True, but a disproportionate number of anti-Trump stories are fake news.

It will. Face it, the site is set up for one purpose, gathering rumors. The general public, the Gizmodo audience, isn't going to be privy to any real news about Trump. They will just be posting rumors and nonsense, which Gizmodo will publish as "news" without fact checking it, and playing dumb when called on it. If they are called on it, because their audience, again, is just like-minded liberal snowflakes who want to believe anything bad about Trump. A vicious circle of rumors and hate. Fake News.

Gizmodo is a joke. They want to claim the title "good journalism" and they pull something like this. They are and forever will be, nothing more than a liberal blog site.

Yeah, and there are just as many right wing fake news sites out there lying about everyone on the Left that you will sometimes swallow wholesale without any fact checking. So you're nothing but a giant hypocrite.

I'm curious: How do they get past the libel laws? Id "From an unsubstantiated source...", "From an unsubstantiated source...", "From an annonymous source...", "Joe blow suggests..." get the publishers off the hook?

As far as I know, the press can get away with murder if they argue "in the national interest". But who adjudicates what is in the public interest?

About last June I started to monitor the USA press. What I noticed was that during the run-up to the election, news worthy items
reported in OZ were omitted in the NYT & WP...

No I am not a hypocrite. I dislike right wing fake news just as much. I call out such stories when people post them here on tweb.

especially against a public figure. Although some of these stories come pretty close to being prosecutable as they are obvious lies intended to be malicious.
