Male - TrinitarianQuicken
My future mother-in-law bought a program of Quicken for me to help me with budgeting. I can't seem to register however and it could be a firewall blocking it. The problem is, I don't know how to find that out and if that's the case, how to change that. Can anyone help?

Lawl. If you don't remember installing one, you're probably stuck with the default windows firewall.
If you run Vista, open up the Control Panel, go to Security, then to Windows Firewall. On the left should be a link that says "Allow a program through WIndows Firewall". Make an exemption for Quicken and see if that works.
