      Gas Meter.

Had one installed when my gas bill was outstanding, but have since paid off the debt.

I've tried Googling this but I can't seem to find anything concrete.

Is price per unit of gas on a pre-pay meter generally more expensive than the price per unit for people on direct debit plans in the UK?

Someone told me it was today, and it's put me in a right old mood.

Any info or links appreciated, thnx

Couple houses for sale over here in Oklahoma

      I know, completely unhelpful.

      Meh!

      Re: Gas Meter.

Do you have any bills from before the meter was installed? If you can compare the price per rate, that can give you a price per whatever unit of measure is involved.

ETA: Never mind, Teal already found it.

Actually, a PDF is a very good option for the visually impaired: most PDF software can expand the text to levels large enough to read for the "partially signted," and there are braille readers for computer users who are completely blind.

Yeah, I'm afraid so. I used to work in a call centre for Scottish Power's Customer Helpline and we were told that pre-pay meters are more expensive than your standard meter.

EDIT: Sorry I see Teal has provided a link to say they are the same. Perhaps things have changed since I worked for them. It was quite a few years ago now.
