Snopes has this as a mix truth. I'm not sure about the financial management assistance part. The Obama rule said:

So it isn't based on merely people who get financial assistance. It's people who get financial assistance via social security and who are on record of having impaired mental health. Their mental health records would simply be part of the background check.

The ultimate irony would be if some crazy leftist with a mental impairment assassinated Trump by being able to get a gun through the repeal of the law.

But you said they made it legal for the severely mentally disabled to own guns.

For so very long people on the right have been harassed (labeled 'racist', 'sexist', 'homophobe', and 'anti-science') for merely having substantive disagreements with the left.
To pretend the blowback is unearned is ridiculous; however unfair it may be for you to catch some of it.

I admit I've difficulties in this area - after 8 years of being called every filthy name in the book it is nice to see the left get some blowback for it in the political arena and in the social arena. I don't pretend it is a good impulse.

Franco isn't a fascist (except in the sense that everyone on the right is a fascist) and he IS a right winger. There's little reason for anyone on the right to object to him.
