Re: I can't wait for the rapture
I feel very very badly for the peoples who would suffer the terrible tribulation that would follow after the rapture event. May God delay as long as He can possibly see as fitting, giving people everywhere the time and opportunity to repent and turn to Him.

In my opinion, the single most telling piece of evidence that shows how poorly we're manifesting our call to care for animals is the recent creation of factory farms. Over the last century we have, to a large degree, reduced farm animals to commercialized commodities whose only value is found in how efficiently we can produce and slaughter them for profit. Consequently, more than 26 billion animals each year are forced to live in miserable, overcrowded warehouses, where there is absolutely nothing natural about their existence and where they are subjected to barbaric, painful, industrial procedures.
This is a far cry from what God meant when he told us to exercise "dominion." (Pastor Greg Boyd.)

Re: I can't wait for the rapture
I guess I meant this in another way. Are you looking forward to the rapture so that we can be in heaven with our Lord?

Dizzle, Brad's a Baptist. Every Baptist I know (and I know alot of them)
is a Pretrib dispy. Or at least a Premill dispy. It's basically what they teach and believe. Brad is a recent convert, so he hadn't had much time to study this.

Re: I can't wait for the rapture
someone mentioned to me something about preterism. I don't know how much stock to put into that, our church had a recent study on Revelation and talked about what the rapture would be like. And I have been a Baptist minister in the past, born and raised Baptist. Recently I have reconverted.

I believe we will be raptured. I am one of the dreaded "pre-trib dispies" that are so frowned upon by some.
