I used to have a supervisor that whenever she went on vacation, it was like the entire office got a vacation. As soon as she came back, everybody's stress level would spike again.

And we just got back on horrible snowy roads from Costco and the bathtub will now be cleaned tomorrow instead of today.

Costco wears me out and makes my left eye twitch.

Black rice is delicious. My priest made it for us one night at the missions committee meeting (although his was with spinach) and it has a bit of the taste and texture of black beans.

Simple broil.

Everybody likes different things on their chops, so I broil them and the guys (and I) doctor them up as desired. This is our once a week "if it's Thursday it must be pork chop night". Yes, I know it's Wednesday, but we have to work around MelMak's schedule so it is Pork Chop Wednesday......this week anyway.

I am also technically not cooking the salad.......
