      Absolutely not.

It just goes to show that we Mormons should not be throwing stones at orthodox Christians because of their sordid past.
I have never defended "bad things" done in the name of the Lord by ANY group.

But we aren't indwelt in the same way you believe that Christians are, and we are not excused by God for murder like you seem to think past Christians were. If I am wrong here, correct me.

MMM was cold blooded murder by the "restored" Church.
The folks on the receiving end were not even combatants.
They were LIED to, believing their murderers had their backs.

He was angry that Ananias and his wife had brought such condemnation upon themselves. It's kind of like the reaction I have when my children make a bad choice. I still love them, but it makes me upset that they have chosen to bring bad consequences upon themselves. I'm certainly not dead-panned, or emotionless, and certainly not happy to see them choose the path that leads toward suffering.
How do you know that Peter wasn't sad instead of angry? I didn't see any exclamation marks in my Bible.

show me the word "bible!" in the bible!

oh noes! the bible just imploded!

Jo, just admit you inferred that Peter was angry from the text, but the text doesn't actually say he was angry. Just like you inferred he actually did the killing using his priest power when the text doesn't actually say that.

It was a simple matter of eisogesis.

I don't think Peter killed them. I think the Lord took their lives as is his right to do so when we break a sacred covenant. But I try to put myself in Peter's place. Have you ever tried that with anyone?

Unfortunately Peter wasn't rich, and so stealing his identity has not paid off for me that way. But it did get me across the border.

Watch out, CP. If you don't hold to the trinity, Tweb will make you change your religion from Christian to "Other". You cannot be an Orthodox Christian and NOT accept the trinity. That's the Biggy Essential. So, for your own sake you need to be able to defend your position. If you claim to be Orthodox, you need to know what page you can find the word trinity on in the Bible. Quick, before any of the other Moderators notice. They will teach you that you are not saved. Soon you will be instructed to repent and accept the Real Jesus.

      God bless,
