      SENS and Anti-Aging

I just happened to browse the internet the other day when I came upon someone named Dr. Aubrey De Gray. What do you guys think about him? He proposes a series of therapies to the body to either dramatically decrease the effects of aging on the body or potentially postpone death by hundreds of years. I noticed that his credentials are in the field of gerontology (also my field). I wouldn't be opposed to it, however.

      Thoughts?

      Show me some evidence.
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8)

You can look up the man on Google. Also there is a website called Methuselah Project that has a prize for the researcher who makes rats live the longest based on gene therapies or Calorie Restriction (I have a book by them which is a decent approach to it).

My opinion is that our livespans are increasing because of new advances in medicine and that there will be more increase as technology/medicine increases.

It only seems that you are living longer under a Calorie Restriction regimen.
