I prefer real coffee to Keurig.

Keurig makes garbage coffee. I use a French press, because I am a snooty hipster. I have a grinder too when I can afford to buy good quality whole bean.

I make cowboy coffee, because I am an old guy.

Seriously....I think it's because the popcorn button is set for 5 minutes or something crazy like that. Most popcorn is done in like 3 min or so. People just walk away and forget about it and then complain when they find smoke and charred lumps.

My popcorn button is only 2 minutes, and it works great for the stuff I buy.

Btw, I bought this microwave for $7 from a thrift store about five and a half years ago, and it still works great. Best $7 I ever spent.

My dad got his first microwave about 1980. He upgraded to a new model about 10 years ago, but the old one still worked. I have a very simple model from about 1985 (it was owned by a blind woman who was friends with my great-grandmother) which still works.

I have one I bought in the mid 80's that I still use. And my house came with one above the stove. I use both and both work equally well.

I got a brand new foodsaver vaccuum sealer (actually two of them) at a goodwill store for $10. They were apparently returns to a store, open box, that someone donated to the goodwill store. I bought them and even registered them and got full warranty from them. Used them for several years but they both eventually stopped working (after the warranty went out, of course)
