Re: FIFA World Cup 2010
France : 0
Uruguay: 0
Both teams were notably lacklustre, but especially France, who, for some reason, did not include Thierry Henry in their squad until way into the second half. Both teams were really sloppy, resulting in several yellow cards, and one of Uruguay's players recieved a red card and was sent off. =/Crab Battle

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010
Argentina won the game 1:0. Nigeria played brilliantly, but both teams were rather sloppy as they both kept giving the ball away. Nigerian player Ushe really let the team down as he kept missing, making crap passes, etc. Argentina could have played a bit better too.
The match between USA and England is on in about an hour's time. If England don't beat USA, then I can safely say that'll be England's chances dashed to pieces.Crab Battle

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010
I got to watch the second half of the SK vs. Greece game. SK pretty much controlled the field most of the time as well as the ball. Greece began to control the field more towards the end but SK held up very well on the defense and the goalie. Plus Greece kept making mistakes and kept kicking the ball over the goal.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010
England 1
USA 1
England scored, what can only be described as a beauty in the first half. I mean, WHAT A GOAL!!! Then we screwed things up from there. The only reason USA scored was a screw-up on Green's side. Firstly, why was Joe Hart NOT IN GOAL?! And why was Emile Heskey a striker alongside Rooney? It should have been Rooney and Crouch!!! Hesky is infamous fro heading balls wide, and guess what, he lived up to that today. The USA did brilliantly, especially considering their countries reputation with the sport. Still, England played a LOT better than they did against Japan and Mexico, but, sadly, not enough. It was too little, too late.Crab Battle

I think we played a mostly positive game. Lots of chances. Shame about the keeping error. Ah well.

Goal tending 101: square yourself to the ball. That would have been scored an error in baseball. But we'll take it.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010
I just can't believe Capello put Heskey foward as one of his two strikers. He spent most of the time offside and when he was in the box, he couldn't head or kick a goal to save his life.
