You don't change into a type of person that they expect you to be. That's not the idea. You change into the type of person that is confident enough to talk to women and be comfortable with them but at the same time you keep a sense of originality about you. Like I said before there are different schools of philosophy on this. I know some guys are pretty abusive with what they learn but I have also known guys who went in, learned what they could and then settled down and married a woman that they wanted to spend their lives with. I understand, which is why you need to overcome your initial fears of rejection and start practicing. It's a good idea to join some clubs or something.
