Re: I Don't know How To Attract Women
If you see a girl you like, make eye contact. If she holds the gaze for a few seconds, move in and say 'Hi." If she returns the favor, then ask her name. Then tell her yours. Then, depending on where you are, ask her something that she may know, such as "Do you know where the milk is?
Focus on her. Ask her what interest she has. Then follow up with questions about those things. Soon, she will ask about you and then you can tell her that. Keep good eye contact. If you are shy, look at the spot between her eyes at the top of the nose. It'll look like you are looking directly into her eyes. Careful not to brag and toot your own horn. If she is interested in you, she won't care how lame you appear. Go for the date after you find out what kind of movies, food, etc. that she likes.
Do not fear rejection--there is another one right over there!
Go for it--life is short!Last edited by yo lunch; June 10th 2010 at 10:15 PM.

Yo lunch, stop it. It makes me feel so uncomfortable to actually agree with you on something.

Then Morgoth turned upon Húrin, and he said: 'Fool, little among Men, and they are the least of all that speak! Have you seen the Valar, or measured the power of Manwë and Varda?
Do you know the reach of their thought? Or do you think, perhaps, that their thought is upon you, and that they may shield you from afar?'
'I know not,' said Húrin. 'Yet so it might be, if they willed. For the Elder King shall not be dethroned while Arda endures.'

"One develops a cool and ironic sense of bitter humor, as well as a bloated ego, and this personality characteristic is the defining trait of atheists ancient and modern. "Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded- here and there, now and then- are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as “bad luck.”"

Re: I Don't know How To Attract Women
I am fairly certain my girlfriend et al would notice if I did not bathe, comb my hair, or brush my teeth before I attend her graduation ceremony today.
I am also certain that my interview would not have gone well yesterday if I had failed to dress properly, or shave.
People do take notice, but they don't always say so.
Well good, you know frugality. That's great. Problem is, you do seem to admit the concept that appearance is important.I wouldn't. I would buy a £10-£20 suit from Tesco or Matalan. I might spend that much on a suit if I intended to keep it and reserve it for special occasions (wedding, etc.) I can safely say the most I have ever spent on clothes, was a leather jacket that cost £120. I bought it 5 years ago, and I still own it today.
What do you think you can do to be more successful in understanding them?I have, but the more I try to understand, the more they continue to baffle and confuse me.Dropping a few Eschatology Bombs, or "Let's think before we endorse another way."

Re: I Don't know How To Attract Women
The majority of people are too busy worrying about their own appearance.
On a scale of one to ten, appearance does not matter nearly as much as people think. It is important to dress appropriately, however, that is a matter of aesthetics.

I think it is rather sad that you open this thread hoping for assitance, but then resist it when given.
Appearance is one of the things that affects what people think. It might not be important to you but it is very important to women. On a scale of one to ten, appearance does not matter nearly as much as people think. It is important to dress appropriately, however, that is a matter of aesthetics.
Think outside your box. Be influence able. Set aside your ideas and assumptions. I don't think anyone or anything can improve your situation until that happens.I have absolutely no idea.Dropping a few Eschatology Bombs, or "Let's think before we endorse another way."

Re: I Don't know How To Attract Women
I am not resisting, but merely commenting critically. I have no issue when it comes to spending money on my appearance. Obviously, there is some degree where your appearance matters, I just think the degree to which appearance is held is largely absurd. With that said, women care far less about appearance than you would think.
Physical appearance plays less of an important role than you would think. I don't mind trying to improve my physical appearance, even though I think it should not be neccessary. I spend around £30 on shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, etc. every few months. I should, perhaps, invest in extending my wardrobe however.
I do. I am not rejecting your advice, I am merely pointing out that physical appearance is not as important as other factors.
From what I have learned previously, the most important thing is, you need to have a "way with words". I don't have a way with words (I have asperger's) and therefore in need of assistance in that area.Crab Battle

Re: I Don't know How To Attract Women
If you express that concern to them it will make them want to help you with that. Example: "Forgive me for my not being able to express exactly the way that I feel at the moment but...." You can turn your condition into a positive. Women love to help and feel needed. After all, they are nurturers. From what I have learned previously, the most important thing is, you need to have a "way with words". Re: I Don't know How To Attract Women
Well, I currently live on an Island with a permanent population of 132,000. To top it all, it is full of chavs, and other assorted undesirables. Oh, and most of the population are old people. If I go into town in mid-day, it's nanageddon.
I'm going to Uni soon, so hopefully I will get to meet some new people.Crab Battle
