Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotional’s, 2017: Anticipating and Experiencing Jehovah-Jireh...
    Looking Back...
    Shalom!

This morning I spent some time looking back over the years I have been writing Glory Seeds (I started in 2003) and I come across this one. It’s a reminder of God’s passion to be a working member of all human enterprises.

Today for the first time since beginning writing these devotional’s, I am unemployed! But don’t feel sorry for me because I am unemployed by choice. I began a 40+ year career with my employer on September 16, 1968. My last day of work was April 17, 2009.

Since my first day of work until my last day of work, I have learned and experienced an entire lifetime of lessons and experiences, of all of them there is one that stands out the most. God IS deeply involved in lives of those who make up our work force all the way from the person who cleans floors to the CEO. Of course, the work force does not have an exclusive on God because God IS deeply involved in ALL areas of our world and lives.

I began writing these over six years ago out of my belief that my co-workers needed to know that God was indeed intimately involved in their lives. I will continue to send them because that has not changed and with the way things are now they need more than ever to know that they are not alone that God is very real.

I remember 2 or 3 years ago, I’d volunteered to join a planning team designed to promote employee health and wellness. My reason for joining was because I believe along with our mental, physical, and emotional health we must also be spiritually healthy. During one of the meetings, I mentioned the need for spiritual health but it fell on ears that believed spiritual health was for the churches.

As I walked back to my department, I could feel God’s disappointment because someone told him he did not belong in a factory. While I believe, religion has no place in the workplace I KNOW God DOES.

I want my co-workers (all of them) to know that they do not struggle alone in spite of all the adversities they face God knows all and sees all. And he is still in control of the world. God wants ALL people involved in ALL workplaces at ALL levels to know you are members of his family and he loves each of you with an unparalleled love. No one is greater or lesser in God’s heart.

For nearly 41 years I have been a member of the Mueller Brass Team even though I am no longer an active employee I am still a member of the Team at heart and I will still continue (as long as God provides me the insight ) to write and send these out.

“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”**

    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary
