Um no, that's retarded. It conflates murdering a person who's born, fully independent, and fully grown and sentient, with killing a fetus that is none of those things.

If your whole worldview rests on a particular claim being true, you damn well better have evidence for it. You should have tons of evidence.

      But abstinence "doesn't work."
Abstinence as an educational policy to reduce teen pregnancies doesn't work.

Well not when it comes to sex outside of marriage apparently. "U.S. states whose residents have more conservative religious beliefs on average tend to have higher rates of teenagers giving birth".

No. Murdering your wife is against the law, whereas abortion, within certain parameters, and birth-control isn't.

The conclusions of that paper seem pretty weak, and as the other sociologist in your article points out.

Adamczyk's own, separate research has shown a nearly opposite correlation, at the individual level. "What we find is that more religious women are less likely to engage in riskier sex behaviors, and as a result they are less likely to have a premarital pregnancy," Adamczyk said during a telephone interview. But for those religious teens who do choose to have premarital sex, they might be more likely to ditch their religious views and have an abortion, she has found.

A click-baity 2009 NBC news article that's copying an equally click-baity LiveScience article is probably not going to convince a lot of people.

My statement has nothing to do with whether rich people or poor people have more abortions. It simply states that if she got an abortion or used birth control, and if people like her did, this kind of problem wouldn't exist. You're too stupid to follow that basic logic.
And if she would have practiced abstinence she would of had zero kids. Your statement is just meaningless prattle that you blurred out without any sort of thought put into it. The reality is she doesn't practice abstinence or any sort of birth control because she doesn't care to. Only those who think through the consequences of their actions would practice abstinence or birth control. Evidently, you missed the entire point being made to try to score cheap points against Christians and conservatives, before you understand what point was being made. What was the point being made before you made your silly statement?

That's a great way to avoid responsibility for and learning from your error.

No it is not meaningless prattle, because the point is that people like her need to be encouraged to use safer sex methods. The whole point is her ignorance to the consequences to her actions, which if she had taken precautions to prevent, like smarter people do, would not be in this mess. And abstinence only as a social policy has been shown to fail and even have the opposite consequences. So encouraging abstinence is statistically unlikely to remedy the problem, and may even make it worse.

yeah so? it would have prevented her from having children. And you would only have had to take one life instead of several. right? Think of all the money that could have been saved.

Yeah it is meaningless prattle and you did miss the point because her goal is to have lots of kids and live off the benefits. She could care less about safe sex because it isn't like a mother of 9 hasn't figured out what causes children.

And your entire argument hinges on a belief of ignorance vs they know what they are doing. If you get all these benefits by having a bunch of children, why not? Don't you see it yet? They are being rewarded for their actions and choices. As long as the rewards continue, why stop? It has little to do with education as you believe it does.

If she didn't have sex the problem also wouldn't exist and you wouldn't be trying to shake down third parties to pay for her mistakes.

This women probably never graduated from high school. And that's another part of the problem.
