I got tired of lies and misconceptions being spread about Christianity on internet sites. The most blatant characterization that I took exception to was that Christians were dumb and were anti-science.

Being a scientist myself, I sought to combat this ugly stereotype by exposing the shallow thinking and complete ignorance that I found most of the so called "new atheists" had regarding science. Sure they could spit out talking points about evolution and science but when pressed, they really did not know much. YourMaster is a wonderful example of this behavior. He pretends to know science but when pressed, he quickly resorts to insults.

I don't like science being a tool that is wielded by the skeptic, nor do I like that science is a bad word from some Christians. I truly believe that those who demonize science do a lot more harm to Christianity than any atheist ever could. Science is philosophically neutral. It is not until the the extremes get a hold of it, that it become corrupted.

If you notice, my style is not really to try and convince atheists that there are wrong about their beliefs but to take away their notion that science always leads to atheism. If I can do this, I can kill two birds with one stone.
      Very well said.

"Atheism became really possible in that abnormal time; for atheism is abnormality. It is not merely the denial of a dogma. It is the reversal of a subconscious assumption in the soul; the sense that there is a meaning and a direction in the world it sees."
      - G K Chesterton

"It is true, that a little philosophy inclineth man’s mind to atheism, but depth in philosophy bringeth men’s minds about to religion."
