Her correctness has caused confusion since Nicea. Yet, not all Christians hold to Orthodoxy. You avoid that problem by refusing to call "Christian" those who do not agree with you. But I DO believe that the "correctness" otherwise known in Christendom as "orthodoxy" has become the whore of all the earth.

The "whore" of the earth is NOT people. However, people (hopefully) are promoting her in ignorance. In fact, the thread you pointed to was my exploration of this concept. Since I am on an "Orthodox" website, it is this version of Christendom's "Orthodoxy" I was discussing. This does not mean that the issue of "correctness" belongs ONLY to those in Christendom who believe that "correctness" is essential. It is just that within Christendom, "correctness" is called "Orthodoxy". "Correctness" is attached to man's ego; and man has many religions. The "whore" of all the earth can permeate and infiltrate the thoughts of man and corrupt his own beliefs - no matter what religion they hold to. It is "correctness" which creates false doctrine BECAUSE it is MAN who has determined that only their interpretation is "correct" which gives power to the "whore". Take away the "correctness" and find peace in God's Kingdom here on earth.

Krusader has once more used a misinterpretation to advance her bigotry. It is HER interpretation to include the entire Christian community into something she doesn't understand, but chooses to promote as though she did understand it.

Because of the different definition of "apostasy" you hold to, this also creates a problem. I believe that the ancient church now teaches apostate doctrine. But not all of the church's beliefs have been corrupted. Again, the people do not realize they have been taught and/or that they therefore believe in apostate beliefs. But they are not apostate. These are big differences and distinctions. In fact, I have seen much evidence from time to time on this forum, where Christians promote what they believe the Bible is teaching them, which does NOT agree with the standard "orthodox" view, and they are attacked by the "orthodox" Christians. Sad. Again, take away the "correctness" and find peace in God's Kingdom here on earth.

Kru made the claim that LDS often call the church apostate and whore of babylon, and you said it wasn't true when you yourself have done so right here on this board. I think that kinda proves her right. If you don't like us complaining about the LDS then you shouldn't do so about the church. Glass houses and all that.

Again, you will SEE whatever you want to SEE - whether that is what is really there or not. In fact, the "idea" that "correctness" is the whore of all of the earth is NOT something I have seen the LDS Church teach. It is MY conjecture. So feel free to flaunt your misconceptions as you see fiit.

      Oh, you mean this sig:

Sure as heck didn't come out of Mormon Land. Their motto is "Be kinder than necessary so that you can lure them in." Reminds me, personally, of "flirty fishing."

Re: Secret Tactics of Mormons Revealed

One of the Secret Tactics of Mormons, and you see it here and elsewhere, is simply telling lies. Lying to protect the cult is seen as an acceptable act (I've been told by a Mormon that lies are sometimes just fine). Here is the garbage the Mormons have accused Christians of thru the ages (Whore of Babylon, Abomination, Groveling in Darkness, etc.), and which "jo" and others would rather ignore:

Again, you will see what you want to see. It is not necessary for me to keep explaining myself because you are ignoring what I am saying and only seeing what you want to see.

      So be it.

It amazes me that the anti's think they will be able to convince us, by whatever means they can dream up, that their words will hold more power than the influence of God Himself. Yet they claim to understand God's Word.

ONE MORE TIME: Many of the teachings of the church are apostate. Christians themselves are NOT apostate unless they continue to promote false teachings once the false teachings have been pointed out to them.

Our stand is is rather than another Reformation wherein the attempt was made to throw out the false teachings, Jesus desire to RESTORE His Church

Jo, so is the CHURCH apostate or not? If not, why the need for a "restoration?"

Teachings by definition can not be apostate. Only people can.

Um... where do we claim any such thing? What we DO claim is that you are not being guided by then influence of God Himself.
