Unlike Trump, he had rhetorical flair, way too much flair and not enough experience. I remember cringing when I heard those words."As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." Isaiah 3:12

You don't like his rhetoric because it's not really aimed at your personality type (liberal, and thus submissive and passive-aggressive). Liberals love to be scolded by Professor Obama while conservatives find it insufferable. Likewise, Trump's promises of greatness rub submissive losers (IE: the average prog) who think any straight/white/Christian/male (the more of these apply the worse it gets) who wants to do anything good for themselves is the Next Hitler.אָכֵ֕ן אַתָּ֖ה אֵ֣ל מִסְתַּתֵּ֑ר אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃

It's more Ryancare than Trumpcare. By Trump throwing his weight behind it, it deprives Ryan of the opportunity to point fingers. This failure has landed squarely on Ryan's and the GOP's shoulders, and there are already rumblings in Washington that it's time to find a new Speaker.
So the question is, was this Trump's plan all along? Some may call me foolish, and some may call me odd
But I'd rather be a fool in the eyes of man
Than a fool in the eyes of God

Thank goodness the Royal Decree by His Highness Lord Trump, 'pass this or else,' failed, and we will have to live with 'or else,' and the rich will have to continue paying the tax.
Nonetheless I believe the existing health care system needs to be changed and reformed, but not to pad the wealthy at the expense of everyone else.
Would Congress be willing to share their health care plans with the poor and the middle class?Last edited by shunyadragon; 03-24-2017, 09:01 PM.
