Hey, I've talked with people on the SB about cooking tips, so I thought I'd have some fun here too, so here I am. Anyway, the first Recipe I'll give is for a pretty fast main course that takes about 2 minutes to prep and 20 to cook.
What you need:
1 - Baking sheet
1 - Package of breaded chicken patties
1 - Package of choice of cheese (I tend to use baby swiss myself).
1 - Package of pre-cooked ham (such as what you use with sandwiches).
1 - Oven
Steps:
1. Heat the oven to the temp given on the package of chicken patties. About 5 to 10 minutes should be enough time.
2. Apply frozen chicken patties to the pan (Tip: using a layer of tin foil will make the cleaning process a breeze).
3. Cook chicken patties in accordance with box directions (this is usually about 20 minutes).
4. Remove chicken patties from oven and apply a peice of ham and cheese on top.
5. Place in oven for about 2 to 3 minutes.
6. Remove from oven and you have yourself some malbu chicken, just like some restrants serve!
This one is a pretty easy one and if you like to, leave your recipe's here and try them out and see how they work out.Love is not blind; that is the last thing it is. Love is bound; and the more it is bound the less it is blind. GK Chesterton, Orthodoxy

2. Toss in some bilge rats. Boil for about 20 minutes until tender.
3. Remove rats from water and place on serving tray. Sprinkle with moldy cheese and bacon.
4. Place metal cover over serving dish and let stand for 5 minutes.
5. Serve to your guests, remove the metal cover and say "Surprise!"

Hot Tomato Sauce
This goes really great with fresh pasta, but here's the recipe.
You'll need, for a serving of 4 people:
5 tablespoons of olive oil
2 cans of tomatoes.
2 celery stalks
2 big onions
2 big carrots
1 red chili
1 tablespoon concentrated tomato paste
optional:
1 quarter cup of white wine vinegar
Some fresh oregano and basal leaves.
Dice the onions finely and put them on medium heat with the olive oil while you dice the carrots, celery, put them in as well. Let it simmer until the onions have grown translucent and slightly golden, use that time to dice the chili (*remember to remove the seeds*) after which you add it. Add the white wine vinegar and let it boil away, add the oregano and basal leaves and add the tomato paste. Let it simmer for two minutes then add the canned tomatoes. Now put it on a low heat and put on the lid, and let it simmer for at least an hour. Give it a good dash of salt and peper, remember to taste. Done.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And as if that wasn't enough, here's my sig!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today’s is for all those steak lovers out there.
So, how many of you have gone to some bodies house and got a piece of steak that looked like a good year tire (right along with the taste)? Well, if you want to avoid that, here is a few ways to do it:
Be choosy:
Don't pick just any old steak, look at it, check it for how red it is and be sure that it's fresh. Also, be aware that meat does not stay forever in the freezer. About two to three weeks should be the longest you want to keep meats frozen because any longer and you do risk freezer burn and taking out all the flavor.
Prep work:
Much of the steak is all about how you prep it. I don't know how many people I have found that just buy their steak and cook it right away. Try to marinade it for a few hours (there's store bought marinades or homemade ones that can add lots of flavor) or you can use meat tenderizer and sprinkle it on your steak. Also, I found poking several holes in it with a fork, does wonders.
Cooking:
I find many people don't do this right either. Rather you use gold old charcoals or gas, don't rush it. It's not a race and that will simply burn the outside to a crisp and leave the inside under cooked. Give it time to cook and control the heat and if you have to, turn the grill down or move the charcoal around to turn down the heat. If you are in a hurry and don't want to wait for the 40 to 60 minutes it might take, you can butterfly your steak to make it cook faster.
If you follow this, your steaks should turn out a lot better, but when it comes to cooking. Experience is usually the best teacher. Hope this helps and have a good day.Love is not blind; that is the last thing it is. Love is bound; and the more it is bound the less it is blind. GK Chesterton, Orthodoxy
Sacrilege!
Before you cook your steak you have to sear each side on a very hot surface or grill to seal in the juices! If you merely put your steak on at low temps you will ruin it. Once it is seared you can turn down the heat. And the inside is SUPPOSED to be "undercooked" - It's a STEAK not a hamburger!
I think pix should give Sparko the directions for how to make Kraft Dinner.
