Re: My first cell shading attempt.
Lots of good quotes from elderly authors. I would recommend Chesterton as a gold mine here, about every other statement he made would look good on a coffee cup. And he's so caricaturable...
"There are two ways to get enough. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less."
— G.K. Chesterton
More? you want more?

I think I'll do a polycarp mug next. I'll have the background have a lot of red and oranges and the font will be a "charred" looking font.
Probably won't time to work on that until later on the week though.Dropping a few Eschatology Bombs, or "Let's think before we endorse another way."

Then Morgoth turned upon Húrin, and he said: 'Fool, little among Men, and they are the least of all that speak! Have you seen the Valar, or measured the power of Manwë and Varda?
Do you know the reach of their thought? Or do you think, perhaps, that their thought is upon you, and that they may shield you from afar?'
'I know not,' said Húrin. 'Yet so it might be, if they willed. For the Elder King shall not be dethroned while Arda endures.'

That's the one I am leaning towards to. I think it still gets the mood across without looking gaudy.

I've posted the polycarp mug, complete with a reference to chuck norris in the product description.
Here is the G.K. Chesterton mug, along with a crucifix design that might be on mugs/shirts.Dropping a few Eschatology Bombs, or "Let's think before we endorse another way."
