Re: Lincoln's plan for black colonization

I'd like some more information about Lincoln's plans to establish colonies for former slaves (and maybe other black people) or to move them to other colonies that were already established. Did Lincoln plan the colonization to be voluntary, or would he have supported deportation?
Fwiw, here's a link to a report of a meeting in 1862 between Pres. Lincoln and a group of freed black Americans.
As I understand it, Lincoln sees nothing positive in black Americans remaining in the USA -- the white and the black races being too different, and even as freed, the black Americans would not be the equals of white Americans.
Lincoln therefore encourages emigration to Liberia, a colony partially inhabited by descendants of freed American slaves.
So, Lincoln sees no positive future for either white Americans or black Americans in a USA with both groups. Solution: free or forced emigration to Liberia of black Americans.
