Ran into a former co-worker while grocery shopping. She had to leave work about a year and a half ago when her husband suffered a debilitating stroke (he was in his 30s!). Both were health nuts except that she smoked (kind of oxymoronic). I asked her how her husband was and she told me that very recently he has taken a very serious turn for the worse and doctors don't expect he'll be around in another month. Prayers appreciated for Denise's husband.
