Re: The TektonTV Thread
True story: when I Googled "Farrell Till" and clicked on a search result, I got a pop-up message that said my computer was infected.
Till is apparently so disgusting that just clicking on his name gives you malware.Last edited by fm93; May 25th 2012 at 02:22 PM.

Re: The TektonTV Thread
Yes. Though these days he's into publishing his own fantasy fiction. It appears his main product has something to do with the pagan gods of the OT being revealed as aliens.
I remember he used to brag about how many times his name came up in a Google search versus mine. These days his name gets 41,000 results vs. about 230,000 for mine (combining the two variations of JP and James Patrick).
He's become a non-entity just as he deserves to be.Last edited by jpholding; May 25th 2012 at 03:19 PM.

Due to rampant stupidity by Skeptics, and time issues, I'm only going to be on TWeb in my own (tektonics.org) section from now on. Deal with it.

As part of the continuing process of heaping Symph's reward on his head, he now stars in this one explaining Malachi 2:3 (jimbo's fave verse).

Then Morgoth turned upon Húrin, and he said: 'Fool, little among Men, and they are the least of all that speak! Have you seen the Valar, or measured the power of Manwë and Varda?
Do you know the reach of their thought? Or do you think, perhaps, that their thought is upon you, and that they may shield you from afar?'
'I know not,' said Húrin. 'Yet so it might be, if they willed. For the Elder King shall not be dethroned while Arda endures.'

Where you show that american kids used Buffalo dung as frisbies, in South Africa, the Afrikaaners used to make the floors of their houses out of a mixture of cow dung and ox blood. It would polish up to a real shiny deep red colour and was pretty touch (some of the historic houses are still going good) and indeed in rural areas they still use cow dung for making the floors. And wattle-and-daub constructed houses often has dung mixed into the daub.

Re: The TektonTV Thread
I have noticed that one objection I keep getting from atheists is that the genealogies in Matthew in Luke are hopelessly contradictory. Maybe you could make a video about that topic? Many of them either are too stupid or too lazy to read a real article dealing with the subject, and since your vids are mostly short and to the point, I thought it might be a helpful topic to cover. That, and maybe the Documentary Hypothesis as well. Anyway, that was just my 2 cents.

Re: The TektonTV Thread
Only a few small points on this one. Was that a typo on your part with the "rolls" being destroyed, or was it written that way in the original book? Also, I had seen something on Myth Busters, where they ignited C4, and cooked food with it, and it didn't explode, so I doubt a simple lighter would make C4 explode. Other than that though, great job debunking these ridiculous claims.

That's how Ellerbe had it, yep. But it does appear to be an acceptable synonym for scrolls:

As I just told a guy on there (DarthBobCat) you have to mix the C4 with my special cartoon ink to make it do that. Also, I had seen something on Myth Busters, where they ignited C4, and cooked food with it, and it didn't explode, so I doubt a simple lighter would make C4 explode.
