Re: The TektonTV Thread
He didn't comment on any of mine; I banned him as soon as I saw him popin. He did comment on my Wild Wild YouTube vid over on Andius' channel (ClipsdeAndius) and I saw him whining a lot on Symph Controversy's channel last month.
Sadly, there's no easy search feature for that sort of thing.

Re: The TektonTV Thread
Longish response to Symph and his symphering:
I really hadn't planned to deal with issues like these so soon on TektonTV, but the number of whiners dense to the truth is more than I expected. I have another critic (more well meaning, but no better informed and no better at actually answering arguments) on one of the Dawkins vids throwing 2 Tim. 2:23-6 at me now -- repeatedly. That brings back memories of Skepticbud doing it too -- twice -- back when TWeb first opened. No one ever learns.
BTW here's a little secret....I'll be implementing new rules when TektonTV reaches 1000 subs. Right now it says 991. Those rules will be a lot stricter and will cut off a lot of whining about treatment of the fundy atheists. You'll see how -- or you can guess.

Since DarkChicken2525 doesn't want to take my Religious Knowledge Test, I decided to start grading him:
I mean seriously. It takes profound idiocy to call the conflict between Elijah and the prophets of Baal "apologetics" or a "debate" or a "test" anyway -- even without the honor challenge aspect. But that makes it even worse.

Re: The TektonTV Thread
I uploaded part two of my Deuteronomy 25:11-12 series on my channel at www.youtube.com/thestinkingatheist. I'm not going to post the video, however, because I go into a detailed analysis of a passage from Song of Songs and it's slightly graphic. In the second part, I also review Jerome Walsh's view on Deuteronomy 25:11-12 (which is the view that Paul Copan takes) and do a little critiquing of Thom Stark. >:)

Re: The TektonTV Thread
A long, LONG overdue response to Geisler fanatic Joe Hardy (the one who was always spamming Amazon threads and such).
In other news, TektonTV formally crossed over 1,000 subbers in the last hour. That number can go up and down, so I won't assume it will stay over 1K until it gets a little higher.

Re: The TektonTV Thread
JP, please, PLEASE make a response to THIS video:

Your refutation of Mushy... ehm, Marshall's Brain website was one of the most entertaining things i've ever read! And the video has lots of visualizations, so it makes for a good target IMO."Without strong traditions of honor and virtue-conducive institutions, democracy is passive-aggressive savagery, each person out for himself or herself, but by whining rather than beating; and in such a society the most savagely passive-aggressive begin to dominate others. This can, however, be resisted, dampened, or redirected by traditions and institutions".

Re: The TektonTV Thread
You may not get this one unless you're keeping up with the related controversy. Basically, there's been a lot of talk from female Skeptics (and as you might guess, my sympathies lie with them on this issue) about sexual harassment at atheist conferences. One named Rebecca Watson (who is in the vid) remarked on how she was propositioned in an elevator at one of them. (It's more complex than I can relate here; check for the story if you want to know more.) Back when this happened Richard Dawkins replied with a tactless commentary implying Watson was complaining too much -- that's why he's also in the elevator.
More recently, Thunderf00t was kicked off Freethought Blogs in part because he wrote some posts trivializing the issue (the quotes are all basically his verbatim). PZ Myers stood firm on the side of Watson and the ladies. So now Myers and Thunderf00t have been having a little war back and forth and its amusing as all get out -- and something I figured it was worth adding my 2 cents in on.

Re: The TektonTV Thread
PZ Myers response was well thought out. The ending had me laughing. Responses like that is why I consider PZ Myers one of more respectable skeptics for me.
Also JP, brilliant video as always, nice to see one the monsters again, hehehe.
