Re: The TektonTV Thread
Just now finished watching the video, here be my review.
Loved your interpretation of Brightsmile, although I must say, it be a trippy experience seeing the voice of the Mithrabuster and Brightsmile. But he definately came out as hilarious.
Annabelle's acting was also spot on, being the voice of reason and cool in the competition (not much of a competition though, hehehe). Toodles did well on this role.
Nosco, definately the one who's most comments will produce. Loved his "sticky" impersonations, manifesting his thinned out substantive arguments, hehe. I laughed every time he made his BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP, especially when he pulled the hammer, hehe. The southern accent, of course, complented well his character (Next thing you'll know, I bet TektonTV will recieve hatemail for saying southerners are simpletons, heeheehee), but it was so much fun AP's take on Nosco, hehehe.
I was surprised to find your brother Toa make his cameo here along with Schaffter (can't recall atm who he ishere in TWeb), loved the Primordial Soup bit. (Now to brace ourselves from more Darwinist haters to come, heehee).
Congrats on the lipsync JP, I heard that part of animation, even the simplest kind, is not easy to pull off, from what I heard at least. But it gave it some "extra life" to the characters. The sound effects were also spot on (I teared up a bit on the mega foghorn bit where Nosco lost his head, and returned to it's body, hahaha).
Great animation, great info, I look forward to seeing more of this. (Perhaps a Hearthstone short? ^^)Last edited by Andius; October 8th 2010 at 01:57 AM. Reason: Removing extra text

He isn't -- he's just a friend shall we say.

The film software makes that fairly easy. I also have some animation software that is supposes to do it automatically -- Anime Studio 6. I'll try it out later.Congrats on the lipsync JP, I heard that part of animation, even the simplest kind, is not easy to pull off, from what I heard at least.
Mmm...maybe.Great animation, great info, I look forward to seeing more of this. (Perhaps a Hearthstone short? ^^)

I decided to see who I could tick off my listing Mithra Buster as a response to this.
I'm not sure whether the grammar is worse than the scholarship.

Re: The TektonTV Thread
OK, let's have some feedback here.
I need to pick targets. Understandably with all the dumb scholarship on YT and bad production values on most of these (like the one linked above) it's like being in a candy store filled with fish in a barrel. So here's what I need to know from those more experience with YT:
1) Who are the big names I can tackle? Is NoSCo a top dog, or are there others with more recognition value?
2) What's considered a "popular" vid in terms of number of views? NoSCo's game show vid got 250,000+ visits; but that's obviously not viral level, like say Zeitgeist is.
All (esp Punkish
) are invited to scout around for me.

Then Morgoth turned upon Húrin, and he said: 'Fool, little among Men, and they are the least of all that speak! Have you seen the Valar, or measured the power of Manwë and Varda?
Do you know the reach of their thought? Or do you think, perhaps, that their thought is upon you, and that they may shield you from afar?'
'I know not,' said Húrin. 'Yet so it might be, if they willed. For the Elder King shall not be dethroned while Arda endures.'

Re: The TektonTV Thread
You could try addressing some of Thunderf00t's videos. Although that would be an easy target seeing as he lost pretty much all credibility amongst the YT community.

That's like saying a thief lost all credibility with the thieving community.
