Re: What are your favorites?
1) Characterization
The Stand or Wicked(both had really interesting and well developed characters)
2) Prose
Interview with a Vampire
3) Dialog
If we are talking about witty or funny dialogue I'd probably go with Hitchhikers Guide, but I think I'll go with Of Mice and Men instead.
4) Suspense
The Bourne Identity
5) Themes
Not sure what you mean here. I think I'll go with Lord of the Flies
6) Protagonist and antagonist (might overlap with #1)
Protagonist goes with Wicked. For antagonist I'm going with Game of Thrones
7) Plot twists
Meh, I cant think of too many books that had a plot twist that 'worked.' I think I'll go with Ender's Game just because I didnt see the twist coming at all.
Although the best plot twist I'v ever seen came from a video game(Bioshock, would you kindly play it to see what I mean?)
8) Ending
Lord of the Rings.
9) Redemptions, fall from grace
Again, Lord of the Rings
10) Plot
I think I'll go with Ender's Game.OBJECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything by Tolkien is great. Dante, Shakespeare, Milton, and Lewis are my homeboys as well.
