    Passover 2017 begins Monday evening, April 10, and ends Tuesday evening, April 18. The first Passover Seder is on the evening of Monday, April 10, and the second Passover Seder takes place on the evening of Tuesday, April 11.

      Thank you for the posting. I find that the Passover story is so similar to the story of Jacob and how Lavan chased after him. Not only this - When Jacob lived under Lavan house, Lavan prospered and knew that this prosperity came from his son in law but in this case, more similar to Joseph. The fourteen years of service for Leah and Rachel must have been fulfilled shortly after the birth of Joseph. Just as Jacob reminded Laban that it was time to take his wife (29:21), so he must seek his release so that he might return to his homeland and family.

      Jacob wanted to return back but the Israelite were lead into the desert to pursue their homeland.
