I recommend you do not try too hard and ...research as little as possible. Such weighty things give me a headache. - Shunyadragon, Baha'i apologist

        That's redundant.

Some Christians have unwittingly played into the hands of those who would question biblical gender roles by conflating cultural gender roles with biblical ones (like by affirming that things such as watching football are what makes one a man). Granted, cultural gender roles matter to an extent. In some cultures, women wearing pants might come across as a rejection of femininity but not in others. But we need to draw the line at a reasonable place.

Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

I football leaving you cold makes you a freak, count me in. I join Christian friends to watch football on TV occasionally, but it is the fellowship that attracts, NOT the football. And I am not a Brony and have never seen this program that I am not even sure exists.
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Very, very little to me. If someone thinks that makes me less of a man that is their problem, not mine.

I'm just messing with him. Plenty of guys don't follow football, and plenty of women do.

When the Super Bowl comes on here, Allie likes to watch the game and I put my book down during the commercials.

Our culture has decided that wearing a dress portrays one as female. I think it would be inappropriate for a Christian man to wear a dress for that reason.

I went to a metal concert a month or so ago, and there was a guy there with a foot-tall mohawk, skeleton face-paint, and...a kilt. It worked, somehow.

Kilts are an exception to the "no dress"-rule.
