Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotional’s, 2017: Anticipating and Experiencing Jehovah-Jireh...
Holy Week Day’s Two and Three...
    Shalom!

We are people of the Resurrection Light!

One of the deep insights we experience from Holy Week is the before and after picture of life. The Crucifixion/Cross/Darkness before. The Resurrection/Tomb/Light after. We know from scriptural accounts Jesus’ crucifixion, death, and resurrection were not only real they were physical. However the insights we experience I am suggesting are spiritual and a renewal of our minds not physical, although they may originate physically.

My life has been dotted by crucifixions but the one that turned my life blind sided me and to this day I can’t remember it. As I think it the only way I can describe it as a slow painless spiritual death. I remember my resurrection as standing up on a Wednesday night at church saying, “I want to dedicate my life to Jesus Christ,” and at that point the Light of the Tomb never to be extinguished. That crucifixion/resurrection experience put me on a renewal of my mind track. In other words it is through crucifixion/resurrection experiences we can turn lemons into the lemonade.

Take the apostle Paul who was crucified on the road to Damascus when blinded by the Light of the Resurrection and later was resurrected by the hands of Ananias. Or take Elijah as another example. Elijah was crucified directing the power of God on Mount Carmel. His resurrection was completed several days as a still small voice gave him another assignment. Both Paul, Elijah, and other characters of the bible had multiple crucifixion/resurrection experiences and like ours with each one the Light of the Resurrection intensified.

Paul’s experience made it possible for him to write, “For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true.” (Ephesians 5:8–9, NLT) The next time you feel a crucifixion coming on don’t panic turn your Light of the Resurrection and let the Holy Spirit rescue you from the darkness.

“Faith isn’t hoping for the best life has to offer, Faith is anchoring oneself to the Best God has to offer!”

    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary
