So the fact that I'm aware of Arab culture means I didn't "invent" baklava? ...

Oh please. Saying that reveals what his habits in school must have been like is ridiculous.

The good news for WikiMonkey is that since he thinks his IQ is far higher than everyone else's, that no one can comprehend what he thinks about so easily, that his assertions are all facts, and that no research is required to argue against a point, that he can at least be sure that he could get a position writing for DC.

Nevermind that Jesus, his disciples, Paul, and many others of that culture used insults for rhetorical effect; all humans have the right to mock rank stupidity wherever they see it. You don't coddle it.

We, as Christians, try to live like Christ, who didn't hesitate to rebuke people who demonstrated their irrationality and hatred towards the true gospel, yet you, as a Christian, judge us for doing what Jesus (and apostles like Paul and John) did.

      Pathetic.

Addendum: Theo, let me make this clear. If little_monkey had demonstrated an open, honest mind, we wouldn't be mocking him at all, but rather treating him with respect. If you browse the threads in this forum, you'll see that reasonable nonbelievers like chrs181818 and Anon are treated as equals. However, little_monkey has made it clear that he prefers to remain in ignorance and delusion, and as such, he is worthy of mockery and ridicule.

1 Corinthians 2:14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

You fell from one thousand feet during the walk of death, which, alone, was odd enough at your age, but you made short work of the walk of maiming and the walk of intense discomfort and tore your head clean off. I comforted you, well, your head, saying that you could just walk if off, because, you know, the cut was clean and then you would punch a mountain. In space!" -Master Li, Jade Empire

Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings with my opinion, I should have kept it to myself.

But you're right about god stories. There is one thing, among others, I wouldn't discuss with them, and that is the screwy concept of the Holy Trinity!

Epoetker with some, uh, unique views on gender relations (bold his, italics mine): http://www.theologyweb.com/campus/sh...d.php?t=142062

It's fairly simple. Putting sexual alpha males at the top of the social order ensures that there will be no social order. An alpha male is simply a man with the body of a man and the mind of a woman. Therefore if the female attention he receives catapults him into a higher social position, he'll rely on his alphaness to stay there, and not his ability or knowledge of his job or anything outside the rather depressingly narrow skillset of status jockeying.
But since I haven't linked an article you ignored in a while, yes, women are society.
Screwball for the misogynist article as well.
