You're just asserting that. It doesn't follow.
Why not ? Why doesn't it follow ? I mean, you aren't being sarcastic in saying "sure" (above) to the fact that Jesus forbade murder.

Murder is a serious sin. Not taking a life can be a serious sin too.
This thread is about whether or not the assassination of a dictator is biblically justifiable. Right ? Am I missing something ?

How could not "taking the life of" a foreign dictator of our [Christians'] choosing be a serious sin too, like murder ? A serious sin to not to go in and kill a national leader somewhere ? Isn't that murder ? ...No ?

I thought the thread's question was if there is indeed a biblical justification, for those of us who follow Jesus' example and actual teachings. This would be something separate from a question about the rationale a civil government's leadership and military might make for killing an enemy dictator.

In my opinion, the single most telling piece of evidence that shows how poorly we're manifesting our call to care for animals is the recent creation of factory farms. Over the last century we have, to a large degree, reduced farm animals to commercialized commodities whose only value is found in how efficiently we can produce and slaughter them for profit. Consequently, more than 26 billion animals each year are forced to live in miserable, overcrowded warehouses, where there is absolutely nothing natural about their existence and where they are subjected to barbaric, painful, industrial procedures.
This is a far cry from what God meant when he told us to exercise "dominion."

Cybelle, I haven't forgotten to reply, just been enjoying the weekend (took our daughters up to Hot Water Beach ... and the eldest didn't get carsick once.)
