Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotional’s, 2017: Anticipating and Experiencing Jehovah-Jireh...
The Resurrection Light continues to shine..
    Shalom!

We are People of the Resurrection Light...

“The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” (John 1:4–5, NLT)

Usually when I finish writing a Glory Seed I look in my picture folder for graphic I can add words and use and if I can’t find one I Google Image search for one. However, I didn’t follow that procedure with this one instead I looked for the graphic first. I wanted one with light exploding out of Jesus’ tomb into a darkened world. After looking at hundred’s of graphic’s there was only one I could use, all the rest the light illuminated the inside of the tomb.

Easter 2017 is now history. Like Christmas there’s always a big build up, church pews usually empty at other times of the year are suddenly filled to capacity only to be empty again in seven days later. The cross and the empty tomb are they only for Good Friday and Easter Sunday, or are they timeless like the Man who experienced them first hand?

We may celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection once a year but the Resurrection Light illuminates our lives every minute of every day. I believe Jesus’ entire 33 years on earth can be summed up in one word/event the Resurrection. I believe had the Resurrection never happened we would still be spiritual dead. I also believe the light John talks about in chapter 1 is the same light that exploded in the tomb that fateful morning and that Light continues to shine out of Jesus’ tomb flooding the world and our lives with the Light, Love, and Life of Jesus.

“Faith isn’t hoping for the best life has to offer, Faith is anchoring oneself to the Best God has to offer!”

    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary
