Re: Why Don’t JP Holding’s Apologetics books sell better?
Griggsy, could you please leave my state and thereby raise its average IQ? Georgia gets slammed enough for its overall academic numbers as they stand right now, and you're making them look even worse.

Closing your eyes and hoping the truth goes away doesn't make it go away, little boy. Doubting John has been caught in numerous lies and half truths and that is pretty well documented over here so only those who are deluded (AKA you) wouldn't see otherwise.
Your extreme biasness against anybody that is a theist is showing again.Arrogant? Yes,those who wear those blinders certainly see me as that but ignore that log in their own eye.
CS Lewis nor JPH are 'scholars' by any definition of term I am aware of. They are more apologist and writers that present various arguments from scholars than scholars, in of themselves (although CS Lewis could be described as an English scholar, but not as a one when it comes to Christianity). Now, Holding ranks lower than even C.S.Lewis amongst Christian scholars.
I don't care if they do or not, but you are aware that some of the most popular writers of today were not all that popular during their times, right? So what does this prove?Instead of recriminations, why don't we discuss Holding's arguments as to why people should pay much attention to him and buy his books.
Wouldn't that show him a master apologist in your estimation and otherwise in others'? Be his bulldog!
That is pretty darn funny, but I always thought appeal to popularity was a fallacy. You claim that it is logic that is the 'bane' of theist, but yet... you make such an obvious logical fallacy here? It doesn't matter if JPH sold 1 book or 1 million books, that has no bearing on the truth of their content. You also are aware that some of the most well known and popular authors today, were not nearly as popular in their day, right?
And yet, here you are, having out in here and making a fool of yourself.TheologyWeb ranks high with me as do TheologyOnLine, Christian Boards, Christian Forums and Christian Debate.

No response still. If you're so sure Griggsy, pick a way and let's go toe to toe on it.
