I'm referring to modern television, you idiot.

Back up a few posts to the comment I was responding to. I'll even highlight an import word so you don't miss it:

Edit: Although I should note that in the few cases where they are shown to have less than ideal lives, it's almost exclusively because of outside pressures and not because homosexuality itself is a problem.

Same here. I ate lunch with the potheads in 11th grade, because none of my few friends had lunch at the same time, and it was the only group I was comfortable with.

More nonsense, the fact is I have never seen gluttony celebrated. I certainly have heard preachers speak of self-control and taking care of the body because the Holy Spirit dwells there. And we don't "go after gays" except in the broad context of sexual sins. Which is perfectly Biblical to speak on. And should be addressed.

          Avarice and greed
We took advantage of the poor
          Just ignored the needy

I'm not sure where you've been attending church, but I've never heard any pastor say anything like either of those examples. In fact, the three churches I've regularly attended over the past few decades (attended consecutively, not simultaneously), the pastors have all promoted and set the example for a healthy lifestyle.

I guess I've an amazing tendency to find corrupt churches that nobody else attends.
Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. He wouldn't have gotten 1% of the vote if it wasn't for the widespread spiritual and cultural devastation caused by progressive policies. Perhaps they aren't corrupt until you attend them...?

I am all for stopping bullies in schools, against anyone for any reason. And the social cliques, like the jocks and the cheerleaders thinking they are better than the guys in the band, etc. Schools can be cruel for everyone in one way or another if you are not one of the popular kids.

I think we should beat up the bullies.
                      That would learn 'em.

I had my share of fights, that's for sure. Ironically one bully in 4th grade kept picking on me on the way home (he lived a street over) - so one day I stood up to him and whooped his behind good. After that he became my best friend.

And this is why the argument against homeschooling that it doesn't teach kids how to "socialize" is so laughable.
