Smile We Thank Thee, O Lord, For a Savior

We Thank Thee, O Lord, For a Savior

We Thank Thee, O Lord, For a Savior
Who died upon that cursed tree,
Who shed His dear Blood, to save us,
And severed the shakles, setting us free.

We Thank Thee, O Lord, For a Savior,
God in flesh, Word Incarnate, we see,
Coming to earth to mingle among us,
Carrying the cross to far Calvary.

We Thank Thee, O Lord, For a Savior
Help us to share Him with all so in need,
Those who Satan has bound in darkness,
Show us Oh Lord where to plant the seed.

We Thank Thee, O Lord, For a Savior,
May all the each Witness one day bow their knee,
To the Christ of that Old Time Gospel,
Who has come that God's Love we may see.

We Thank Thee, O Lord, for a Savior,
The God-Man, Who has done it all,
Who stretched out His arms, for to suffer,
And save us from Adam's far fall.

We Thank Thee, O Lord, for a Savior,
May our hearts sing Honsanna to Thee,
      Forever enjoying your Presence,
When your Holy Face, at last, we do see.

      Happy Thanksgiving to all.
