Welcome to Zion, God’s Beautiful City sitting on a hill basking in the Light of Jesus, a Light that can never be extinguished!
Zion, City of God Funeral Home
There are times in life when we must face things we’d rather not face. Some of those things unless seen in the Light of Jesus can be disheartening. Yet when seen in the Light of Jesus testifies of God’s love, compassion, and grace. Today is one of those days because today you will need to witness a death.
It is not a physical death.
It is not a spiritual death.
It is a death of sins.
It is the death of your sins.
In the world in which you now live the funeral home is one of the most dreaded places you will enter. People go to great lengths to avoid going to them.
That is not true here.
The Zion, City of God Funeral Home is a place of celebration and one you must visit.
Upon entry you will not need any tokens you will gather them as you walk through.
Upon entering you first thing you notice the odd shaped caskets. Whoever heard of a casket shaped as a cross? But then who ever heard of city laid out in the form of a cross. The cross shaped caskets that line this funeral home are as numerous as are your sins. In order to maintain your stay in God’s City you first need to take upon yourself Jesus’ name but even before that you must repent of your sins. It is here where you can see the glorious results of your repentance because your deceased sins now lie in state in their own casket.
As you walk past each casket you will read, “This Sin Forgiven” inscribed across the top. Tears of joy will begin running down your cheeks. Softy in the background you will hear a familiar voice singing “Amazing Grace,” you recognize it as your own voice singing with a choir of angels.
Before you move to the next casket look to the left and you will see a nail holding the top up. Please remove the nail so the casket will close.
As your visit to Zion, the City of God Funeral Home comes to an end you will see an exit sign but before walking through it you will also see an empty casket to your right labeled “Before exiting deposit tokens of sin here.” As the sounds of your tokens falling into an empty casket echo off the walls, floor, and ceiling slowly and methodically you will feel your spirit being emptied of suppressed guilt and you will feel yourself becoming a new person, a permanent citizen of the City. As you step once again into the street the world suddenly becomes alive and your clothes become white and your heart pulses in rhythm with Jesus’ pulse.
But, please whatever you do not offend the Shop Keeper and be extra sure you’ve not any hidden tokens after you leave.

Zion, the City of God where the fate and hope of the all world rests!
Grace and PEACE,
Gary,
