My tools that I have for work:

430 and 440 channel lock pliers
    Side cutting pliers
    Hammer
    Diagonal cutters
    Tape measure
Screw drivers (flat head, phillips, tiny flat head)
    Voltage tester
    Level
    Head lamp
    Wire strippers
Another tool I have is a combination of wire strippers, bolt cutters, and crimpers
    Wire skinning knife
    Scissors
Tiny cutters (don't know the actual name, but this is the best description, similar to diagonal cutters)
    Ty-Rap gun

Oh, and I have a tool bag to put all of those in.

    and a multimeter.

I found this one on Amazon for $6 and it works great! I bought extra ones and just tossed one in my toolbox, one in my car, gave one away as a gift.

I've got a Leatherman Micra on my key chain. It has proven to be ten times better than a Swiss Army Knife

I'm always still in trouble again

I have several full size leatherman tools (some clones) and I also have this keychain tool that is really useful:

It was only $4 (amazon addon)

I always carry a knife - Gibbs' rule #9 - and it has a seat belt cutter and glass breaker.

Yeah, it beats carrying a trochar and cannula all the time.

I have some of these, but usually a narrow pocket knife will suffice....

You definitely don't want to be standing downwind when you open those spigots!
