  • Guardians of the Galaxy, vol 2

There will probably be spoilers in this thread. I liked it.
"Concentrate on what you have to do. Fix your eyes on it. Remind yourself that your task is to be a good human being; remind yourself what nature demands of people. Then do it, without hesitation, and speak the truth as you see it. But with kindness. With humility. Without hypocrisy."

Well, Howard the Duck did make another cameo appearance.

I think it's nice that they are doing a bit with some Mega Man stuff since they haven't made a game for him in so long. I mean, yeah he was in other titles of the series, but kind of just "there". Now they've made him more a part of the story.

Not a fan of the current Guardians. This is one of the things that turns me against the "shared universe" concept that I generally love. You almost have to follow even titles you don't really like in order to really get the whole picture.

These are the Guardians of "my" day: a3ccada06a187b5bd9bc4aba9eee8cec.jpg

And back in my day, Drax was in the 50-ton strength class, was almost totally indestructible, and could fly and blast energy from his hands.

Yeah. The cool, grim, monomaniacal, awesomely powerful Drax. Not the goofy, hyper-literal, easily-smacked-around-by-Ronin Drax. Pfeh.

I saw it yesterday. It was pretty good. A little slow on the pacing IMHO, and Kirk Russell was awful as Ego, but I liked it overall. It was a fun watch. The Adam Warlock teaser at the end was my favorite part.
