Re: The Difference Between 'The Blues' and Depression
Remeron started in the 90's. Last night i gave my mom her first dose (15mg) last night and she was completely knocked out in 30 minutes!! I mean my sister and i had to practically carry her to bed. She only got up once in the night and even then she had to have help - thank goodness my other sister stayed the night with her! So tonight i will only give 1/2 dose and see if she does better. In time i think she will get used to it. But i just wondered if anyone else had taken it before and how they did with it.

Re: The Difference Between 'The Blues' and Depression
Seems to me if memory serves, Remeron can cause drastic weight gain . . . so just make sure of a stable weight.

Re: The Difference Between 'The Blues' and Depression
My mom is 5'5" and weighs 100 pounds, so weight gain would be good. But now she's on Celexa, with a new doctor.
